Justin Kelley

I am from Harleysville, PA, and am the youngest of 7 children. I started out in AV as soon as I could fit behind the family's console TV. I would wire up my video game systems when others couldn't figure it out.

I developed an interest in audio from tinkering with the family stereo system and playing old records.

I started working at my dad's auto body business at 15, where I learned about business and the importance of customer service. My father taught me that there is no job was too small and to always exceed the customer's expectations. I developed a drive to one day own my own business from this experience. I took an electronics course in high school. When it came time to find a job for work-study, I was told to find a job that I truly enjoyed. I couldn't find anyone willing to hire a kid in high school in home audio, so I ended up working for free at World Wide Stereo for a year. The experience I gained there was worth more to me than money!

I worked side by side with real professionals, of which I highly respected. I learned a lot and later used this experience to get a job in the home audio field after earning my Associates degree in electronics. I worked for Tweeter Home Entertainment as a Home audio Installer until they went out of business in 2008. With the economy not doing well and no companies hiring home audio installers, I took a job teaching a Home Theater course at Central Montco Technical High School. At the same time, I reached out to my former Tweeter customers and started a side AV business. I would hire students to help me on larger projects. I taught my trade to high school students and even helped a few find jobs in the field when they were not working with me on side AV projects.

After a few years teaching, the stock market recovered, and I began seeing new opportunities in the AV field. I decided to leave teaching and rejoin the AV world where my passion was. I worked for several AV businesses over the next few years but never lost my passion for opening my own shop full time. I decided to partner up with Frank Fernandez, a former co-worker from Tweeter Home Entertainment, and together we formed Premier Audio Visual. We are born from a combined 25 years of passion in AV technology with customer integrity, and we are ready to serve you. Welcome to our site, and we look forward to working with you!
